A County of 88 Cities, Served From Inside It
Los Angeles County is not a market you can serve from a call center in another state. It’s ten million people across eighty-eight cities, and moving boxes of records through it means understanding that a pickup in Torrance and a pickup in Glendale are different jobs on different days.
We’re based in Santa Fe Springs, which puts us in the middle of the county rather than at the edge of it. When you call, you reach the company that will actually handle your records — not a national broker that subcontracts the work to whoever bid lowest that week and adds a margin for making the introduction.
Priced by the Box, So You Know the Cost Before You Start
We price by the box, based on a standard page count for a box of records. Not by the page.
That matters more than it sounds. Per-page pricing means you can’t know what a project costs until it’s over — you’re quoting against an estimate of how many pages are in your boxes, and almost nobody knows that number. Count your boxes and you have your price. If you’re comparing quotes from several vendors, this is the difference between a number you can budget and a number you’re hoping about.
Our rates come in below the industry averages, and the reason is unglamorous: we carry less overhead than the national firms. One facility, no network of regional offices, no commissioned sales organization. That saving goes into your quote instead of into their operating costs.
Industries We Serve Across the County
- Healthcare. Medical groups and practices from Downtown to the San Gabriel Valley, handled under HIPAA-compliant procedures. See medical records scanning.
- Law firms. Closed case files and discovery productions for firms Downtown and across the county, with Bates numbering and documented chain of custody. See legal document scanning.
- Aerospace and manufacturing. Job files, quality records, and compliance documentation from El Segundo through the South Bay and Long Beach.
- Logistics and distribution. Bills of lading, shipping records, and accounts payable from the operators around the ports and the Vernon and Commerce corridors.
- Property management and real estate. Lease files, tenant records, and closing documents across a county where portfolios are measured in buildings, not units.
- Entertainment and media. Contracts, clearances, and production paperwork that has to be retained for years and found on demand.
How the Work Gets Done
- 1. Free consultation and quote. We come to you, count what you have, and give you a written price up front.
- 2. Scheduled pickup. We plan routes around your location and your hours. Every box is logged and tracked from the moment it leaves your building.
- 3. Preparation. Staples, clips, and bindings removed; folds flattened; torn pages repaired.
- 4. Scanning. Captured at 300 DPI or higher. Optical character recognition is available as an option, which makes the finished files fully text-searchable rather than pictures of documents.
- 5. Indexing and quality control. Files named and indexed to the fields you search by, then checked for page count, skew, and legibility.
- 6. Delivery and disposition. Digital files delivered on the media or cloud storage you prefer. Originals are then securely shredded with a certificate of destruction, or returned to you for a return fee if you’d rather keep them.
Security and Compliance
Records are handled by trained staff inside our own secured facility — we don’t subcontract scanning work out to another vendor. Chain of custody is documented from pickup through delivery, and we’re HIPAA-compliant, which is why medical practices, law firms, and financial offices across the county trust us with confidential material.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you actually come out to our part of the county?
Yes. We cover Los Angeles County from Santa Fe Springs, including the South Bay, the San Gabriel Valley, the Westside, and Long Beach. Tell us where you are and we’ll tell you honestly what the schedule looks like.
How is a project priced?
Per box, based on a standard page count for a box of records. Indexing fields and OCR are quoted on top if you want them. You’ll have a written price before any work starts.
Can you handle a large multi-site project?
Yes. Where records sit across several offices, we schedule pickups site by site and consolidate them into one indexed set, so you end up with a single archive rather than five that don’t match.
What happens to our originals?
Once scanning and quality control are complete, we securely shred them and issue a certificate of destruction. That’s standard. If you’d rather have them back, we can return them for a return fee — tell us before the project starts.
